Scheherazade 1.5

The sacrifice

SCHEHERAZADE 1.5, part of the SCHEHERAZADE series, is a tribute to the One Thousand and One Nights.

So forget the traditional method of solving logic problems. This problem requires thinking outside the box. SCHEHERAZADE series is made up of premises that incite the imagination so that the objective is to discover the solution to the problem that matches the author’s. . Logic in URAIMSIA, an Armchair Treasure Hunt Book, is something like Alice in Wonderland. So follow the white rabbit (your imagination) and enter the hole (thinking outside the box).

By the way, Jakim Vyzov is part of my pen name and a cyphered puzzle too. So you have to decode it to realize its real meaning. My whole pen name got 5 part, so Jakim Vyzov is just 2 of 5 parts. The rest of my pen name – the other 3 parts of 5 – is going to be showed when the book will be available for sale.

Solve the following problem if you can:

Somewhere in the African savannah, two men were removing equipment from the back of a vehicle. The night was clear due to the full moon in a cloudless blue sky.

Suddenly, birds flew around desperately, making sounds that foretold something very dark. Lions’ roars echoed next.

The pride of lions stopped for a few moments while they grimaced in the direction where the two men were.

The two men then passed in front of the vehicle where two skeletons were sitting in the driver and passenger positions.

The lions’ roars echoed again, louder – they were very close.

Due to the Tapetum Lucidum membrane, which reflects light back to the eyeball and gives felines the famous glow in their eyes, providing excellent vision, the pride of lions sneaked through the savannah.

Meanwhile, a drone emitting several colored lights was flying over the trees and stopped on one of them.

Sounds cut through the night, but they were not caused by the fluttering of wings, the communication of birds in despair, or the roaring of lions.

This time the sounds were babies crying!

The drone, controlled by the two men, was filming the victims of the sacrifice – 7 naked babies placed side by side.

The pride of lions stopped once more and made their faces towards the defenseless victims – this is the flehmen reflex (reaction, response or effect) (from the German verb flehmen, which means to raise the upper lip), the name given in zoology to the reaction present in ungulate mammals, felines and others, in order to facilitate the perception of pheromones and other smells by the vomeronasal organ – located in the roof of the mouth, it allows the animal to “taste” the air, that is, to feel the pheromones carried by the air in order to differentiate what type of meat they are hunting.

But for what? Who were the two men?

Can you tell us what happened to the skeletons in the car and the babies? For whom is such a sacrifice being offered? What is the connection of this story with the others in the Scheherazade series?
