Scheherazade 1.6

The Glow

SCHEHERAZADE 1.6, part of the SCHEHERAZADE series, is a tribute to the One Thousand and One Nights.

So forget the traditional method of solving logic problems. This problem requires thinking outside the box. SCHEHERAZADE series is made up of premises that incite the imagination so that the objective is to discover the solution to the problem that matches the author’s. . Logic in URAIMSIA, an Armchair Treasure Hunt Book, is something like Alice in Wonderland. So follow the white rabbit (your imagination) and enter the hole (thinking outside the box).

By the way, Jakim Vyzov is part of my pen name and a cyphered puzzle too. So you have to decode it to realize its real meaning. My whole pen name got 5 part, so Jakim Vyzov is just 2 of 5 parts. The rest of my pen name – the other 3 parts of 5 – is going to be showed when the book will be available for sale.

Solve the following problem if you can:

A naked man climbed down the riverbank and dove into the water, swimming toward the opposite bank. But he was spotted by a large group of crocodiles, who came after him.

Within a few minutes, the naked man was caught and dragged to the bottom of the river by several crocodiles, while the waters turned red.

Then bodies of naked men began to appear in various places in the river, but were soon attacked again by crocodiles. All were copies of the first naked man.

More bodies of naked men emerged from the depths of the river. The waters became increasingly reddish.

Eventually, dozens of similar naked men emerged from the waters and made their way to the opposite bank. But as they emerged from the waters, they were surprised by a strong and bright glow – so strong and bright that everything turned white in their eyes.

What is this glow? Where did it happen? Why? What is the connection with the other stories in the Scheherazade series?
